TCDXA Meeting Minutes

 

Meeting called to order:                    Nov 19, 2007 @ 6:45 pm

 

Members in Attendance:                    23

Health & Welfare:                             We received word that Earl Chiswell, WØIAK, suffered a stroke and             heart attack.  No details on his condition.

 

Old Business:                                     None

 

New Business:                                    A donation request from DL7ZZ for the 5T operation in Mar 08 was tabled until the next meeting.

                                                           

Ted Tsengas, K2RCA, received his membership certificate, and was welcomed to the club.

 

A $100 donation to the ARRL Spectrum Defense Fund was approved.

 

The club will continue it’s tradition of providing a beverage and appetizers at the December meeting.

 

Nominations for next years officers were solicited.

Program:                                            Scott Wright, KØMD, gave us a look at operating from B1Z, in Beijing, China.  He was a guest op while attending a medical conferece in Beijing.

                                                            It was an excellent program backed up with some great photos.
