TCDXA MEETING  MINUTES

The meeting was called to order at 6:40 pm by our President, Mike, NØODK.

New Business

 

Larry, WØPR, gave a report on guidelines for field checking cards.

Mike, KØBUD, brought us up to date on the status of plans for the W0DXCC convention in Rochester in August.  KØMD was unable to make it, due to a last minute snag in his schedule.

Mike, NØODK, talked about plans for programs, current and future. 

Jim, KØJUH, took a look at the club budget for 2008, and talked about future DX donations, income and expenses.

The TCDXA will continue to sponsor an award for the MWA QSO party in February.  The $75 expense was approved by the members. 

Tom, NØZK, presented the new line of TCDXA wearing apparel.  Orders will be taken.

The meeting was adjourned at 7:20 pm.

 

Program                                  The BS7H operation in May, 2007

 

The BS7H video was another classic piece of photography shot by James Brooks, 9V1YC.   It was a close look at what the group went through to put this rare DX entity on the air.  It was an excellent program.  Thank you President Mike, for providing the video.

 

This month, Tom, KØYR, Mankato, and Bob, WØEK, Albany, get the long distance award for making the drive on a cold and snowy night in January.

 

And we can’t forget two of our Super Senior members who turned out for the meeting.
