TCDXA MEETING MINUTES

Health and Welfare:   None

Old Business:  KP1, KP5 - Discussion on whether the TCDXA should donate funds for the support of legislative action regarding opening up Desecheo and Navassa Islands to Amateur Radio DXpeditions. General feeling was that individuals should contact their representatives to indicate support of the pending bill, and that the Club would support the actual DXpeditions when they occur.


New Business:

A vote was taken to accept Tom Rieff KØPYK as a new member of TCDXA.

Jim KØJUH had the new TCDXA banner at tonights meeting. He informed members that he was able to save $125 on the price of the banner. Members had voted last month to pay $175 - $200 for the banner, and Jim was able to purchase it for $75. Way to go Jim!

Mike KØBUD had the fliers for the Tailgate Swapfest to be held at 3M parking lot Saturday June 4th at 7AM to 1PM.

The raffle prizes for the lucky winners tonight were: ACØX  received the free dinner ($26), Greg KCØRET  won the cash ($30), and $30 to the Club treasury.

Presentation:

The presentation for the evening was given by Skip Jackson MN Section Manager. Skip explained the duties of the Section Manager, who his assistants are, and what his priorities are during his term as manager.
