TCDXA MEETING  MINUTES

The meeting was called to order at 6:45 pm by the club President, Mike, NØODK.

New Business                          Mike discussed options for programs at future meetings.            

Since taking over as president, he has provided the members

with some great programs. You da man!

 

Jay, KØQB, brought the members up to date on the WØDXCC convention Aug 8-10, and the Dakota Division ARRL convention which will be one of the featured events at the expo.

                                               

Standing in for the Head DX Hog, Jim, KØJUH, presented Clean Sweep Awards for the VP6DX operation to 7 members.

                                                Treasurer’s Report by Jim, KØJUH, and a discussion with the

members about spending guidelines for DX donations.

Program                                  The Elecraft K3 HF All-Mode Transceiver

 

On a snowy night in March, the members turned out in numbers to hear Pat, KØPC, and Tony, KMØO, demo their K3 radios. 

Pat and Tony did an excellent job answering questions from the members about the radio. Thanks guys for putting on a very interesting and entertaining program.
